During the period 2000-2003 Fascie's series evolved from branches into recognizable human forms, particularly female body parts, which is obvious in pieces where these female forms are part of a tree. The end of 2003 completes the woman’s presence as a main character. In her work "Revolution" she describes a period of many radical changes in her life. Part of these changes is the format and the goals of her work. In two series composed by four pictures each she explores the personal identification through the color and forms in nature. Her artistic voyage give as powerful hints about how the nature creates paths to our internal (and very often unconscious) knowledge. Nature outside or nature inside is just different perspectives of the same thing. Perhaps the fact that work is based on photographical material of the Oleta River Park in Miami supports the idea of inner knowledge or perhaps the idea (again) of starting in branches and evolved to female forms could be taken in the opposite way with the same result. Our existence is revealed through nature and that's the reason our knowledge goes far more behind than our own birth. At the beginning of 2004 Fascie is invited to exhibit in Barcelona, Spain. There, are new changes in format, color and theme but the internal search is constant. Those series described the privacy of her studio, which could be understood as the description of the ship she used to travel in her explorations. At the end of 2005 she retakes the subject of the woman with three diptychs. In two of those works also returns to large formats. Returning to the female figures is a necessity of absolute and total identification with life. It is the most objective point of view of our own existence we can reach. For half-full of 2006 Fascie has again changed its expressive characters who follows bound to all the previous searches, she works in a series of flowers, choosing the feminine aspect of the flowers from the place of association of forms and the demonstration of the beauty diversity through the variety of colors and types. Fascie's works go and back from nature to human forms, but far from being in the same place, they advance inexorably to the inner warmth of existence in its astonishing beauty. |
